Notices about Alitalia Services
- The contents of the notices, conditions,
warnings and tariffs reported in the
ticket are fully in compliance with
the provisions of the applicable international
treaties, European Regulations, laws,
rules, governmental orders and general
conditions of carriage.
- The time shown on flight coupons is
the departure time of the aircraft.
The passenger shall perform check-in
operations at airport's counters no
later than the time limit indicated
on ALITALIA official timetable and,
however, sufficiently in advance of
flight departure to permit a better
completion of security formalities and
departure procedures.
- If the passenger does not perform
in due time airport check-in operations
or fails to arrive at the boarding gate
of flight or, even if arriving in due
time, results improperly documented
or in any case unable to travel, ALITALIA
may cancel the seat reserved for him
or her and, in any case, will not delay
the flight.
ALITALIA will not respond to the passenger
for loss or expenses due to passenger’s
failure to comply with the foregoing
provisions.
- In the extraordinary case of non embarkation
of passengers holding a confirmed reservation,
ALITALIA will aplly the schemes of compensation
for denied boarding, whose details are
available at airport premises (and on
this Internet website at page Overbooking), in compliance
with the European Community applicable
regulations.
- Some "special" fares are applied by
ALITALIA subject to particular conditions
which may not consent to the passenger
modifications or change of reservation
and may limit or deny the amount of
the refund, wholly or partially, of
said fares.
- Should the passenger not show up without
giving proper notice in due advance,
ALITALIA may cancel reservations for
connecting, prosecution or return flights.
- In accordance with international rules,
by Instruction of the Italian Ministry
of Transportation no. 40/0151 of 18
March 1996, as integrated by the ENAC
(Italian Civil Aviation Authority) Instruction
no. 99-2632/DG of 22 July 1999,
is not allowed the use, on board the
aircraft, of all portable electronic
devices, with the exception of:
- hearing-aids systems;
- pace-makers;
- electric shavers;
- portable sound systems (i) not
laser reading or (ii) digital;
- personal portable computers not
linked with printers nor with CD
players, to a limited extent of
the cruise time and upon specific
permission of the Captain.
- It is not consented to smoke on board
ALITALIA Group aircraft.
Notice according to Italian Legislative
Decree 196/2003 - Processing of personal
data:ALITALIA, through passengers' reservation
and check-in operations, acquires passengers
personal data necessary to perform contractual
obligations in respect of the same passengers.
Execution of such obligations entails necessarily
that ALITALIA personnel involved with operative
and commercial offices, as well as third
party services providers, may get to know
such data in their respectively capacities,
the first, as "Person in Charge of the Processing"
and, the second, as "Data Processor". ALITALIA,
as "Data Controller", for the subject data
treatment, managed mostly through computers,
informs that the data themselves will be
exclusively utilised for the above mentioned
purposes.
